Don’t let transportation stand in the way of care.

Every pet deserves the chance to live a healthy, happy life — and we’re here to make that possible. If you or someone you know needs help getting a pet to an event, fill out our Ride Request Form today. We’ll connect you with a lovely volunteer who’s ready to help transport your furry friend safely and on time.

🏠 Neighborhood Petcare Hubs

With support from the Petsmart Charities Incubator Grant, we’ve established three core Petcare Hubs at:

These sites host monthly Pet Resource Days to distribute food, leashes, toys, litter, and provide access to preventative vet services, vaccines, microchips, and help with spay/neuter scheduling.

🚐 Mobile Petcare Hub

Our outreach team sets up pop-up clinics and resource tables at events across Louisville – reaching even more pet families through local partners. This was made possible by a generous van donation!

📍 Location: Mobile Service for Home-Bound Pet Families. This service is limited to the 40210 zip code (or nearby).

💉 Vaccine & Wellness Clinics

We host regular, low-cost clinics for cats and dogs, offering:

  • Rabies and DAPP Vaccines
  • Wellness Exams
  • Nail Trims, Dewormers, and More

🚨 Please Note: Pets4Life Louisville focuses on preventative care and pet wellness through pop-up vet events. We are unable to provide emergency vet services or funding assistance for emergencies or individual vet appointments. For other needs, please visit our Pet Resources.

✂️ Snips & Chips Campaign

Snips & Chips: Spay/neuter and microchipping through free microchip clinics and community events like District 15’s B.O.B series to make these essential services accessible, affordable, and easy to understand.

Complete Fix Program: Bundle offers spay or neuter, vaccines, microchips, and a dewormer for $30-$40 for Jefferson County residents – a $500+ value!

This was made possible by Meijer’s Store #166 (Preston Hwy) and the SNIP Vouchers from Metro Animal Services & KHS.

🚨 Please Note: Jefferson County requires that all pets are licensed each year though Metro Animal Services. The yearly license fee is $10 for pets that are ‘fixed’ (spayed/neutered) and $60 for pets that are NOT spayed/neutered.
